Our Whale implants have a conical thread with a single beginning point on the implant body.
The main part of the implant has cylindrical contours with a thread contour that differs to the external contour.
The cone of the implant neck is designed for maximum connection to the soft tissue surrounding the bone.
The cylindrical implant head has four faces and is designed for prosthetic rehabilitation. It protrudes inside the mouth above the soft tissue.
These combined features ensure give our Whale one piece dental implants ease of insertion and added strength and functionality.
Thread placement and shape ensure that the Whale implant offers clinicians optimum positioning and stability.
The thread broadens out as it travels from the apical edge towards the neck of the dental implant. It has a thread pitch 1.2mm (a single beginning).
The implant neck has a smooth, polished surface and comes in tapered or straight in designs.
The implant head can be conical (tapered) or straight along the gum line and can be inserted flush with the gum or protruding to a height of 3mm.
Implant Treatments:
The length of the implant surface is treated by injecting wet aluminum oxide and by etching in hydroflouric and sulfuric acids followed by neutralizer. After treatment, the remains of the materials used are flushed out and the surface is then cleaned.
Packing takes place in a clean 10,000 class room.
Sterilization is via pasteurization using γ-rays.
Smart Design Features of the Whale Dental Implant:
We have years of experience as clinicians and as a global dental implant manufacturer. We continually refine our design and manufacturing techniques resulting in us developing world class, fit for purpose products that keep track of all the latest technological advances.
Our Whale implant has the following features;
Effective design: Minimal bone lowering is achieved due to the difference between the implant body cones and the external thread size.
Easy insertion: Implant installation preserves the gap between the implant body and the bone.
Bone compression: The depth of the thread ensures that insertion in the apical area of the bone exceeds the size of the implant neck area. This pushes the bone horizontally.
THE IMPLANT ABUTMENT:
The Whale implant abutment has the following features:
The neck and the prosthetic abutment together form a single unit which has the benefit of preventing the formation of a gap alongside the neck of the implant.
This one-piece design assists the preservation of the bone and reduces both compression and contact between the soft tissue and the neck of the implant.
The implant abutment is solid and rigid and makes use of small diameter implants.
The Whale implant has the advantage of being installed in a single surgical operation.
OSSEOINTEGRATION
Top Implants products are decontaminated during manufacture and enhance osseointegration.
The implant’s specially designed surface generates a roughness that improves the contact between the implant and the bone, encouraging enhanced osseointegration.
The etching with acids and the flushing to remove contaminated substances generates an oxidation layer.
Sterilization via pasteurization decontaminates the product, preventing infection and encouraging the acceptance of the implant by the surrounding bone structure.
Installation of Whale Implants
Whale implants are specially designed for treatment involving the following scenarios:
DENSE ALVEOLAR BONE
Installation of Whale dental implants is suitable for those with dense alveolar bones.
THIN BONE
Implantation in very thin bone when immediate load is applied.
REDUCED MESIODISTAL GAP
Whale implants are suitable in cases of reduced mesiodistal gap.
INSTALLATION FOLLOWING TOOTH EXTRACTION
The installation of dental implants immediately following a tooth extraction is possible due to the anatomic configuration of the implant abutment. Temporary implants can also be used.
