sH-Oligopeptide-1 or EGF (Epidermal Growth
Factor) : EGF, for Epidermal
Growth Factor, is a complex protein that tells your epidermal cells to multiply
themselves. This results in thicker and plumped skin. It also can be named as
rh-Oligopeptide-1, sh-Oligopeptide-1 or even Human Oligopeptide.
It is a biotech ingredient for the prevention of skin
aging. Its ability to induce collagen and fibronectin biosynthesis helps
improving the appearance of wrinkles and the elasticity of the skin. It acts as a catalyst for the activity for
stem cells in the skin layer as well as an important mechanism for repairing
tissue cells and wound healing. It can
stimulate skin cells to have more collagen synthesis and helps the damaged skin
to recovering to better skin condition.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is a synthetic fatty acid-linked peptide that can help repair visible skin damage and strengthen skin's underlying supportive elements. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 tricks your skin into producing more collagen to repair your skin, improve elasticity and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7: Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 is a type of synthetic peptide composed of many amino acids to reduce skin inflammation and the skin damage. This peptide is believed to stimulate the regeneration of collagen in the dermis and improve the epidermal barrier.
Beta Glucan: Beta glucan can be beneficial for reducing the scar tissues by helping inhibit melanin oxidation. It can also promote melanocytes by promoting inter-cellular crosstalk, which can lead to prevent pigmentation.
Allium Cepa Extract (Onion Extract) : Onion
extract has been shown to improve the appearance of scars on the skin. Specifically, the extract gel improved the
scar's texture, redness, softness and overall appearance. It also helps to reduce inflammation in the
skin which can prevent redness as well as possibly decrease scar sizes.
Centella Asiatica Extract : Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola)
is a well-known scar remedy. Applying
Gotu Kola to wounds and even acne eruptions can reduce scarring. It helps to increase blood flow to wounds, reduce
the formation of excess scar tissue, and improve skin elasticity. It also reduces inflammation of the wound and
heal faster.
Allantoin (Comfrey Extract) : The plant-based Allantoin that we use is
derived from the leaves of the comfrey plant.
Allantoin helps to slough away dead skin cells, it also works to help
your skin retain moisture. This means it
not only leaves your skin more hydrated, but also helps to smooth and even out
skin texture to leave it supple and soft.
Sodium Hyaluronate : Sodium hyaluronate is smaller than hyaluronic
acid and is able to move more freely into the deeper layers of the skin. This
helps to hydrate skin and keep it moist. Sodium Hyaluronate also helps with wound healing, so if you
have acne, this ingredient will help prevent scarring.
Glycerin: It's typically made from vegetable or animal
fat, but can also be made synthetically as well. Blemishes, marks and age spots are hard to
get rid of. However, regular use of glycerin has been shown to help these marks
fade with time. Glycerin also keeps the skin hydrated, has plenty of
antibacterial properties and maintains the pH levels of the skin.
Caprylyl Glycol: Caprylyl glycol is an alcohol derived from
caprylic acid—a natural fatty acid found in the milk of some mammals, as well
as palm and coconut oils. Ours is naturally derived from coconut. Using skincare products with caprylyl glycol can help
attract moisture to the skin, resulting in a smoother, softer complexion with
decreased wrinkles and a more plump appearance.
Propanediol: Propanediol is a natural, skin-friendly
preservative-boosting humectant for all kinds of formulations. It is made from
renewable corn sugar fermentation. It
has the ability to soften, soothe the skin and preventing water loss.
