Description

Offered today is a beautiful "Retro Art Deco" 1940s solid, heavy 14k rose gold diamond and ruby ring.  This is a classic fan-type style with a curve of rubies above a central diamond, with more diamonds underneath.  The style is identifiable to anyone who collects Retro Deco jewelry.  I called it a pinky ring because it is currently a size 3.5 but it can be certainly be sized larger by your jeweler if need be.

The ring features a central old European diamond measuring about 3.8 mm, with a high table and open culet.  It is approximately .23 ct in size, and set in four prongs.  Seven rubies are set at the ends of bars in a curve across the top, with three more chunky little European diamonds at the bottom of the ring.  The diamonds are graded as H/I color and SI1 clarity by our experienced estate jeweler. Total gem weight in this ring is about .75 ctw. 
Please note:  Under high magnification with a loupe, there is one small chip to one of the rubies which does not detract from the ring's beauty.

The face measures 1/2" top to bottom.  The ring is hallmarked 585 for 14k, weighs 6.2 grams and is a size 3.5.  It's in excellent vintage condition.
