Nice antique Cornelius & Baker argand / solar / astral lamp
Corinthian column style - absolutely beautiful, but not perfect
There are some bumps and chips around the corners and edges of the marble tiered base
Plate on front of lamp embossed: 
CORNELIUS & BAKER    PATENT APRIL 1ST, 1843    PHILADELPHIA
This is a lovely old lamp that was electrified at one time (see hole in bottom back of brass column and solder to bottom of inside of tank)
I have included pics of the inside of the font so you can get a good idea of condition - apparently at some time, a previous owner had it electrified and then reverted back
I'm not sure how these old lamps worked, so please purchase with that in mind
I have shown pics of how it was purchased with a screw-on socket fixture and shade - that shade is listed separately as the threads did not fit securely into the lamp) - NO SHADE INCLUDED

Approximate measurements (may vary slightly):
15"  to top of brass font
5"  square base
Font section about 5  1/2" overall diameter
Collar interior threading is about 1  13/16"
