This 6" bowl is in such nice condition and has such a sweet scene. Raised gold moriage depicts a flower landscape with two bluebirds flitting about. Two small handles. Marked Meito in red and green. Meito made some of the nicest non-Noritake pieces from the era when this was made. This would have been manufactures between 1918 and 1941, probably the earlier years of that range. A bowl like this was probably just for display, maybe held calling cards or candies or items on a ladies vanity.
